What a view

This little beauty is the shotgun I got Jeff for Christmas. This gun is so cool because it's waterproof.

This picture was taken up above our house shortly after Christmas.

Jeff and I went up to shoot his new gun.

Just call me spoiled...

Both our kids made a haul this year as usual. I think Jeff and I tried to restart the economy by ourselves. We are so blessed.

It wouldn't be a picture of Blake without the smirk.

$ High roller $

Blake has been working with a plumber on his journeyman so he just had to go and buy a new TV. Pretty sweet huh?!

Happy Thanksgiving!

To Grandma's house we go.

Whitney and Courtney played speed in the evening.

While the girls played the boys dressed up with the girl stuff.
I'm so beautiful.

Happy Birthday Whitney!

We had a small little party for Whitney's 15th birthday. Yum chocolate cake.

Did she get her wish?

Yep! All she wanted was Zelda.

Here's a few of the gifts she received.

Family is forever

On August 28th I went through the Logan Temple and received my endowments.

The temple grounds are so pretty.

On August 29th my Mom and her husband Denny went through the Logan temple and were sealed for all time and eternity.

Day 2 Bearcreek pack trip

On our way in on day two we spotted this moose. We saw her the first day, but this time she had her calf out in the open where we got to see it.

Whitney did fantastic for her time riding. I saw many smiles like this one and hope we can do this again next year.

On our second day we rode to a hot springs. Outfitters and hunters built a pool with rocks. Boy did it feel good on our saddle soar bodies.

Shania and Whitney really enjoyed the hot pool.

I'm on L and Whitney is on Snip. I love to see my daughter on a horse next to me. I am proud of how well she did on our trip.

Our pack trip

Here is Whitney's first time on a horse. Grandpa put her on Snip.

This is one of the many beautiful views we took in.

On the first day we rode and went to Golden Gate. Wow it was really high up there.

It wouldn't be a trip with my dad if he didn't get in a nap somewhere out on the trail.

Palisades Damn

This summer Whitney and I went on a pack trip with my dad. We went to places around Palisades damn. My brother James drove us up and help us set up camp. Thanks James!

After we set up we decided to go to the damn and skip rocks and swim.

James has always been an excellent rock skipper. I think he holds some kind of insane record for rock skipping. Did I mention he can skip about any shape rock?

WHITNEY IT'S FREEEEEZING!!! Shhhania don't push me in!

Ok once you get in it's not so cold.

Batter up!

While we were waiting for supper we decided a game of baseball would be fun. Batter up Blake!
We want a pitcher not a belly itcher!
Dad will you help me?

Foul!
Zorro wants to play too.

The annual Denton campout

Colombine is so pretty. Whit and Courtney always pick it when we go camping.

Finally we got the kids to do some work. Whit and Courtney did the dishes while the adults relaxed.

This is my favorite view to go see while we are camping. This isn't the best picture, but it just feels like the mountains go forever.

Blake is the reason Polaris put out goggles.

He gives a new meaning to the saying "eat my dust"
