Both our kids made a haul this year as usual. I think Jeff and I tried to restart the economy by ourselves. We are so blessed. It wouldn't be a picture of Blake without the smirk.
Here is Whitney's first time on a horse. Grandpa put her on Snip. This is one of the many beautiful views we took in. On the first day we rode and went to Golden Gate. Wow it was really high up there. It wouldn't be a trip with my dad if he didn't get in a nap somewhere out on the trail.
This summer Whitney and I went on a pack trip with my dad. We went to places around Palisades damn. My brother James drove us up and help us set up camp. Thanks James! After we set up we decided to go to the damn and skip rocks and swim. James has always been an excellent rock skipper. I think he holds some kind of insane record for rock skipping. Did I mention he can skip about any shape rock?
WHITNEY IT'S FREEEEEZING!!! Shhhania don't push me in!
Colombine is so pretty. Whit and Courtney always pick it when we go camping.
Finally we got the kids to do some work. Whit and Courtney did the dishes while the adults relaxed.
This is my favorite view to go see while we are camping. This isn't the best picture, but it just feels like the mountains go forever. Blake is the reason Polaris put out goggles. He gives a new meaning to the saying "eat my dust"
Everyone knows Blake's favorite holiday is the 4th of July because that means their is fireworks involved. Blake has been a pyro lover since he was a very little boy. Blake has been putting on firework shows for our family for the past several years and they just keep getting bigger as he does. And of course as soon as Blake get's out fireworks the kids crowd around.
Blake loves to light anything that blows up or shoots up. Run, duck and cover!!!!!
Our family was established in March of 1991. We live in the foothills of Franklin Idaho. The first time we saw our property where we live now, we had a Brigham Young moment and agreed that "This was the place". We love living here with our kids, cat and dog. We get to see wildlife almost everyday and have beautiful views of the mountains.
